3. Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data, financial data, or portfolio information. All data you enter remains on your device.

  • Addresses & Holdings: Stored locally on your device in a secure database.
  • Settings: Preferences like currency and theme are stored locally.

4. Blockchain Data

To display balances and prices, the App fetches public blockchain data from third-party APIs (e.g., Mempool, CoinGecko). This process involves sending public requests (e.g., for an address balance).

  • We do not proxy these requests through our own servers.
  • Your device communicates directly with these public APIs.

You can optionally secure the App with Face ID or Touch ID. This authentication is handled entirely by the iOS Secure Enclave. We do not have access to your biometric data.

6. In-App Purchases

Premium purchases are processed securely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not originate, process, or store any billing information. We receive an anonymous receipt to unlock features.

7. No User Accounts

Bitcoin Scanner requires no signup, no email, and no user account. There is no "Bitcoin Scanner Cloud".

8. Third-Party Services

We use standard iOS APIs and trusted public blockchain explorers. No analytics SDKs (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel) are installed.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted here. Continued use of the App signifies acceptance.
