CamScript ("we", "our", or "the app") is a teleprompter application for macOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how CamScript handles your data.

Data Collection

CamScript does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Microphone Access

CamScript requests microphone access solely for the voice-activated scrolling feature. This allows the app to detect when you are speaking and automatically scroll your script.

Important:

• All voice processing happens locally on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition
• No audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted
• No audio data is sent to external servers
• Voice recognition works completely offline

Scripts and Content

• All scripts you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
• Your scripts are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to any server
• We have no access to your content

Analytics and Tracking

• CamScript does not use any analytics services
• CamScript does not track your usage
• CamScript does not contain any third-party SDKs

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your Mac:

• Scripts: Stored in the app's local SwiftData container
• Settings: Stored in UserDefaults on your device

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.

Children's Privacy

CamScript does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
