Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Your reflections are personal. Reflectric is designed to keep them private and under your control. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is processed, and the choices you have.

3. Data We Collect

Reflectric stores the following information on your device or, if enabled, in your private iCloud storage:

• Reflection entries (morning, evening, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Mood selections, gratitude notes, tasks, intentions, and learnings
• Attached photos (optional)
• Notification preferences, appearance and language settings
• In-app purchase status (Premium)

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or location data.

4. Device and Usage Data

iOS may provide anonymous crash reports and performance metrics if you opted in at the system level. These reports are managed by Apple and may contain anonymized diagnostics; no personal reflection content is included.

5. iCloud Sync

If you enable Cloud Sync in the App settings, your reflections are stored in your personal iCloud private database using CloudKit. Apple processes this data on our behalf but cannot access the content. Turning Cloud Sync off keeps all data local to your device.

6. Purchases

Premium purchases are handled exclusively by Apple via the App Store. We do not access or store your payment details. We only store the purchase status (true/false) to unlock premium features.

7. Data Exports and Backups

The App allows you to export your reflections as PDF or JSON files. These exports are saved to locations you choose. Handle backups responsibly, especially when they contain personal or sensitive reflections.

8. Your Rights

Because the App stores your data locally or in your private iCloud, you control it at all times:

• Delete reflections directly within the App.
• Remove the App to delete all locally stored data.
• For iCloud data, remove the App’s CloudKit database via iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.
• Contact us if you need assistance with any data request.

9. Third-Party Services

Reflectric does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social media integrations. Third-party services used:

• Apple iCloud: optional sync storage.
• Apple StoreKit: handles the one-time in-app purchase.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can assist.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
